Overview

Havarti is Manchego's personal assassin. While technically a member of the Curds, she works covertly, leaving most Curds completely unaware of her existence. She is a minor PC in the Faction Campaign, played by Qaid.

Personality and Relationships

Havarti is cold and serious. When she is on the clock, Havarti does not bother to expend any energy on foolish matters, preferring to get the job over with with as little fluff as possible. That being said, Havarti is known for her "creative" approach to problem solving, often using bullets to fix issues that could have been resolved with simple conversation.

Havarti enjoys her job and she cannot stand being without a task. After the Empire Drake was defeated and Mancehgo had nothing for her to do, she shot his desktop zen garden in fustration. Manchego then offloaded her onto Fet and Mascarpone for the day just to give her something to do.

Havarti doesn't particularly have any friends, and she doesn't ever talk about family. She actively dislikes Pecorino and doesn't see eye-to-eye with Fet Mascarpone when it comes to Curds tasks. Havarti and Manchego were capable partners during the gang war era, though she grows irritated with her boss now that he has mellowed out somewhat.

History

Pre-Campaign

Havarti was a hired warrior for the Second Canalvary in the Canal District. Shortly after Manchego formed the Curds, one of his scouts alerted him to her unique capabilities. He approached her and offered her a significantly higher salary than what she had with the Canalvary if she worked for the Curds. Havarti accepted and became Manchego's personal assassin.

During the gang wars, Havarti was instrumental in dismantling Manchego's rivals. While Fet and Pecorino were winning battles with negotiation on the surface, Havarti was in the shadows taking out enemies who proved hard to bargain with.

Faction Campaign

Havarti was on vacation during much of the Faction Campaign. She returned to Downtown only to find it nearly destroyed by the Stack attack. She then helped the party track down SCHNI's recon robot, raiding the Monterey Jack casino and attacking the patrons who were using it to cheat at blackjack.

Havarti did not go with the party to fight the Empire Drake. Instead, she helped the Curds reorganize after the attack on the surface. After the party came back, she helped them find a gift for Manchego by showing them a secret weapons market where they bought a huge cheese-engraved revolver. She also went to the swamps and killed a behir for Manchego to use for fancy armor.

Post-Campaign

Post-campaign, Havarti continues to work as an assassin for the Curds. She has become Manchego's personal trainer

Appearance

Havarti is a dhampir with tan skin, black and red hair, and golden eyes. She has subtly spiked teeth. Havarti wears a somewhat inverted Curds uniform, dropping the vest and bowtie in exchange for a green necktie and loose-fitting white dress shirt. She carries two pistols in holsters at her waist and another two secret pistols strapped to her boots.
