Overview

Sai is Henry's PC for Mac DnD. He is a wood elf ranger, who after an accident while traveling to a ruggebi tournament, got stuck in the swamps. He is now under contract for Sal Mon in order to raise funds to get back home.

Personality and Relationships

Sai is confident in himself and his abilities. Already a tiny bit arrogant even before getting lost, he thinks surviving the swamps is proof that he is capable of anything. Despite it not being relevant to his current situation, Sai is the type of person to mention a several times that he is on the varsity ruggebi team.

Though he wouldn't admit it, Sai is very sheltered. He hasn't spent much time outside of his forest village, so his perspective is limited to wood elf society. Because of this, Sai is completely out of his element in the big cities of Make Country, failing to comprehend concepts of the greater world such as what a mustache is. Fortunately he has city slickers like Zephril to help explain things.

Sai is friendly and has made positive relationships with everyone in the Make DnD party except Asotho, but not being friends with Asotho is not really Sai's fault. He and Zephril share a youthful whimsy and get up to schemes together. He and Voge share an interest in nature, as he is a ranger and she is a druid. However, Sai doesn't share Voge's preference for protecting dangerous creatures like oozes. Sai himself will say his best friend is Rasmalai, the flying snake he tamed while in the swamp.

Pre-Campaign

Sai was the star player of his village's ruggebi team. One day while on a caravan traveling to another village for a tournament, the caravan ran into some oozes which had escaped a nearby dungeon. Oozes move slowly, so everyone was able to avoid danger. However, Sai overreacted and sprinted into the nearby swamps away from the oozes. He currently thinks everyone in the caravan except him died and carries a particular hate for oozes as a result. Stuck in the swamp, Sai was forced to learn the basics of survival and became a Ranger. He eventually made it out of the swamp, and he is now trying to raise money to pay for his way back to his village.

Appearance

Sai is an athletic wood elf with pale green skin, large pointy ears, brown eyes, and brown hair. He wears a beaten up leather jacket he found in the swamps, pointy leather boots, and a ten-gallon hat. He is probably the only person who thinks maroon and brown look good together. He bought some fancier clothes once in the city which he wears when he is trying to impress city folk.
