Overview
Asotho is a playable character created by Qaid for Mac DnD. He is a Sorcerer who finds himself under contract for Sal Mon to do various tasks.
Personality and Relationships
Asotho seldom talks and rarely makes friends. His relationship with other party members varies from complete apathy to silent resentment. Even still, Asotho will work together with other people if it means getting what he wants.
Asotho is independent and will refrain from asking for help. This was demonstrated when he lit himself on fire with a stray firebolt, and refused to take healing from Voge. Asotho likes to solve problems by himself, which sometimes puts him in regrettable situations. For example, when Asotho tried to free the guests from Klergosh’s casino by blasting the door with a firebolt, he inadvertently lit the entire building on fire, killing everyone.
Campaign
Asotho met Zephril, Voge, Sai, and Calliope at a tavern. They all found a quest from Ol' Hagslittle promising a “Big Ass Reward”. He joined them and rode a cart pulled by Kreggles Makefoot to town to complete the quest. During the voyage, the cart was attacked by several skeletons. Asotho easily resolved the situation with a single cast of Sleep.
In the city, Ol' Hagslittle revealed his quest was to clean his bathroom. Asotho decided to firebolt the toilet, which caused an explosion, dropping everyone into a hidden dungeon in the sewer. Asotho and the party managed to narrowly escape the dungeon.
On the surface, they were greeted by a dwarf policewoman who took them in for questioning. (I forget what happened after that oops).
Asotho and the party met Sal Mon, who contracted them to find a special ring. Sal explained that it currently belonged to an Orc gangster named Klergosh. Asotho and the others went to The City of Winter and infiltrated the casino.
Asotho helped the party kill Klergosh and take the ring, but Asotho accidentally lit the casino on fire while trying to help the people inside escape. As a result, he and the others went on the run.
